What a Crufts!!!!!!

The Top Lodge Dancing Dogs and their handlers were busy at Crufts 2008!

Lesley had been invited to Judge the British Freestyle final on Thursday the 6th of March, the British HTM final on the 7th and the International Freestyle Final on the 8th.

Karen with Kes and Kath with Spice had qualified for the British Freestyle Final to be held in the Crufts Arena on Thursday the 6th of March 2008. Karen with Fly and Kath with Amber and Tipp had qualified for the British HTM Final on the 7th and they were both to perform on the pedigree stand all 4 days (Thursday 6th - Sunday 9th).

Thursday - Freestyle day.

Karen and Kes performed their routine to Cabaret and placed 5th with 25,6 points.

Kath and Spice had an amazing day! Their routine to 'If I only had a Brain' was in perfect time to the music and Spice was happy and motivated. Kath was too :-). They received 27,6 points and no other team were even close to beat them. The audience loved them and they got a standing ovation when they left the ring. By winning the British Final, they qualified to represent England in the International Freestyle Final Saturday the 8th.

Friday - HTM day

Tipp was the first Top Lodge dog in the ring. He performed his stunning new routine to Duelling Violins and he was super. He gained 25,57 points and placed 5th.

Kath and Amber performed their new routine to ONE. They got 25,3 points and placed 6th.

Karen and Fly was last team in the ring and they performed a moving and beautiful routine to 'Minuet in E' by Boccherini. They looked fantastic and kept the audience spellbound. Even though there were between 6000 and 7000 spectators in the Arena, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

The judges rewarded them with 27,03 points and they won the British HTM Final!!!!

Saturday - the International Freestyle Final.
Kath was representing England.

Spice chose the right day to peak!!!! She worked so well and won the International Final with a score of 28,13!!!!!! Their routine was close to perfect and they deserved to win!
