The Suffolk Dog Show
8th August 2009

The Top Lodge Trio was invited to entertain at the Suffolk Dog Show at Helmingham Hall on Saturday the 8th of August 2009.

Peter Purves was the wonderful commentator for the day
and straight after the opening speeches the
Top Lodge Team started entertaining the massive crowd.

Kath and Tipp performed the first routine to "Seaside Rendezvous" by Queen

Tipp certainly enjoys his Freestyle and is not really showing his true age -
he will be 11 yrs old in October!

Lesley and Angus were next to take the stage
with "There Ain't Nothing Like A Dame"

After a fast energetic display - they both reached the final pose in harmony.

Karen and Kes followed on - with a fine display to "Cabaret" - Kes jumping like a 2 yr old!
She will be 12 yrs old in February!

The crowd were very appreciative of Top Lodge working in such hot weather!

Time for a lie down? No - this is Kath and Spice with their routine to "Good Morning"

Spice likes nothing better than to use Kath as her "prop"!

Trade Stands in abundance - and what fabulous quality was on offer!
From paintings to dog coats and dog biscuits with only natural ingradients.

Lord and Lady Tollmarche allowed The Suffolk Foundation the use of their grounds
to stage the largest Companion Dog Show Top Lodge has been involved with.

The moat - with dazzling dragon flies and a numerous fish

WOW!

The crowds were all around the massive arena during all the Dog Classes.

The Top Lodge performed their second set -
with Kath and Tipp performing an Irish Dance to "Duelling Violins" from Riverdance.

Karen and Kes took to the stage next performing to
"Be Our Guest" from Beauty and The Beast.
And once again - they completed the routine without dropping the glass!

"The Beautiful Briny" from Bedknobs and Broomsticks"

And to finish their second set -
Kath and Spice performing to "If I Only Had A Brain" from The Wizard Of Oz

After their second performance, the Top Lodge Team were invited to complete
an interview about the sport of Heelwork To Music for a programme called
"Goodbye 925"
to be shown on Sky Channel 166 from Wednesday 19th August 2009.

Chris Gosling was the producer and presenter and he made the interview good fun.

And a beautiful Leonburger takes a first prize -
even with his thick fur he withstood the heat to sparkle in front of the judges.
