Kath with Amber - HTM World Championship Winners 2010
Kath and Amber travelled to Denmark on the 21st of June along with the rest of the HTM Team GB to compete at the FCI HTM and Freestyle World Championships in Herning on the 24th - 27th June 2010. Kath and Amber had been chosen to represent Great Britain on their HTM team.

The Team had rented a house about an hours drive from the World Dog Show venue. They arrived there on the 22nd and had the 23rd off to rest and prepare mentally for the competition.
Thursday was the first day in Herning. All the teams had been offered practice time in the ring, there was a briefing and the official World Championship Dinner.

Friday was the first competition day. It was HTM day, which meant that Kath and Amber would be performing, but first it was time to enjoy the Opening Ceremony.

They did really well and ended up as best individual dog and handler team on the day and qualified for the Individual Final. Carole with Clifton qualified too.
The entire British team did well and was rewarded with World Championship Team Silver!
The Danish Team won the World Championship
Saturday was freestyle day and a resting day for Kath and Amber. The British team had another good day and Michelle with Tamar qualified for the Individaul Final.
The girls from the Czech Republic won the Freestyle Team World Championship
3 British dog and handler teams were competing in the Individual Final on the Sunday. Carole with Clifton, Michelle with Tamar and Kath with Amber.
Kath and Amber had another very good round and won the World Championship

The official World Dog Show photographer came to the hall and noticed all the British Good Luck cards and did also realise that Kath and Amber were the new World Champions, so he wanted them to pose for the camera in from of the wall with all the cards.
